Moulana Asghar Mahmood Nadwi is a distinguished academic with a deep specialization in Arabic Language and Literature and Islamic Studies, including Tafseer and Hadith. Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Lucknow, he has demonstrated academic excellence, evidenced by his gold medal from the same institution in 2010.
Dr. Nadwi’s educational journey includes a NET+JRF qualification from the University Grants Commission, a postgraduate degree, and a diploma in Functional Arabic from the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language, H.R.D (Govt of India). His comprehensive understanding of Islamic and Arabic studies is rooted in his early education at Darul Uloom Nadwa tul Ulama and Jamiatul-Imam Ahmad Bin Irfan Al-Shaheed in Lucknow.
With extensive teaching experience, Dr. Nadwi has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic at Delhi University since 2014. He has also taught Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at Jamia tul Imam Ahmad bin Irfan Ashaheed and Holy Hadith books at Kulliya Hafsa lil banat in Lucknow. Currently, he imparts knowledge on Tafseer and Usool al Hadith at Darul Uloom Online.
Dr. Nadwi is a prolific author, having penned works such as “Al-shuara al-mukhazramoon” and translated significant texts like “Faizul Mannan fi Tafseer al-Quran” and “Aqal ka daera kar Quran ki roshni mein.” His participation in numerous national and international seminars and workshops underscores his commitment to academic and linguistic excellence.
